How to book a trip
If you see a trip you like and would like to book it or have questions, you have several options.

Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. These trips are different from others, every attempt is made to have participants meet and plan the trip together.
We try to provide a full itinerary, not just a fishing trip with the guest expected to provide for himself during the off hours. You will get to know every and all of the participants on each event or trip and have the opportunity to share fishing time, leisure time and adventure time with all of them.
Almost without exception, Al has been on the trips previously, has first hand experience of the trip or event and tries hard to deliver what's advertised.
Here's all the details about money!
Deposit Amount - Once committed to a trip, a 30% minimum deposit is required at time of booking, unless otherwise specified.
Balance Due - The remaining balance due is on a predetermined schedule, depending on the trip and advance expenses that may have incurred. A payment schedule will be available for each trip, if desired. FULL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ALL SCHEDULED TRIPS.
Timely Cancellation Policy (Up until ninety days (90) prior to the trip or event)- Every attempt to return a client's costs will be made however, fees paid are not guaranteed to be returned in the event of cancellation by the client even though the cancellation is made well in advance of the event. Portions of the fees paid may be retained to cover legitimate expenses incurred such as lodge bookings, airline tickets, etc. where such items are not refundable or where a service charge may be incurred. Proof of the expense incurred by Excellent Adventures will be returned along with any balance remaining in the client's deposit should the client ask for a timely cancellation.
Short Notice Cancellation Policy (Less than ninety (90) days prior to the trip or event) - ANY amount to be refunded on a short notice cancellation is purely at the discretion of Excellent Adventures. The economics of almost all of the adventures require a minimum number to make the trip or event feasible, short notice cancellations do not allow Excellent Adventures the necessary time to fill the empty space created by a short notice cancellation. Economics require that the client suffer the loss on a short notice cancellation, not Excellent Adventures.
Trips and
events cancelled by Excellent Adventures - From time to time it is necessary to
cancel a planned trip or event because of weather, poor fishing conditions, lack of a
sufficient number of clients, or other unforeseen events and circumstances. If a trip or
event is cancelled by Excellent Adventures, clients will be entitled to a full refund of
ALL fees unless certain fees are specified as non-returnable in the trip's description.
These might include rental deposits, airline deposits, etc. Proof of expense will be
returned if a full refund of ALL fees is not made.
Coordinated Trips with Lodges and/or Outfitters -
In the event that Excellent Adventures is coordinating the trip with a lodge or outfitter,
their cancellation policy supersedes Excellent Adventures. In most cases a refund
will not apply and the fees paid will be transferred to a future mutually agreed to date.
Additionally, should the price of the trip increase, the angler will be responsible
for the additional charges.
